Location: Dallas, TX 75254 - Onsite ( *Local candidates)

Pay Rate: $28–$35/hr ( Weekly pay + benefits)

Duration: 12-month contract ( Excellent potential for extension)

Full-time: Monday–Friday; flexible start/end times between 7am-8am start

With a long history in the industry, the company supports a large manufacturing workforce across multiple locations.

 

 

About the Role

We are seeking an Administrator, Order Management to support a manufacturing/production team with data entry, order updates, system auditing, and administrative coordination across multiple business systems.

This is a highly detail-oriented role for someone who is comfortable working between ERP, Salesforce CRM, Excel, and other planning systems throughout the day. The person will enter and update information, compare data between systems, audit records for accuracy, and make sure orders and related information are current and consistent. The ideal candidate will come from a manufacturing, production, supply chain, logistics, planning, purchasing, or similar environment and will be comfortable working with repetitive data-entry tasks while remaining highly accurate and timely. The workload will ebb and flow. At times, the focus may be on entering a high volume of changes and updates; at other times, the person may focus more heavily on auditing orders and verifying that information is accurately represented across systems. Because the manufacturing environment is constantly changing, this person must be adaptable and comfortable shifting priorities when new tasks or urgent updates arise.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Enter, update, and maintain order and customer information across Salesforce, ERP, Excel, and other business/planning systems.
  • Move between multiple systems throughout the day, ensuring information is accurately entered and consistently reflected across systems.
  • Review and audit information across systems to identify discrepancies, missing information, duplicate entries, or incorrect data.
  • Enter and update order changes, quantities, dates, part numbers, and other information based on business decisions and production needs.
  • Perform repetitive and detailed data-entry work while maintaining a high level of accuracy and productivity.
  • Maintain accurate information in ERP and Salesforce CRM systems.
  • Use Excel for basic data entry, tracking, and record maintenance; advanced formulas or data analysis are not required.
  • Review orders and related information to ensure required fields and information are complete and accurate.
  • Work with part numbers and manufacturing-related information and understand how individual parts may relate to a larger finished product or assembly.
  • Review information related to BOMs (Bills of Materials) when applicable; candidates do not need extensive BOM experience if they have a solid understanding of part numbers and manufacturing-related information.
  • Follow established SOPs and documented processes to complete recurring tasks accurately.
  • Shift priorities as needed when new requests, changes, or time-sensitive tasks arise during the day.
  • Support periods of higher-volume order changes and data updates as well as periods focused on system auditing and data accuracy.
  • Communicate with team members and other departments to clarify information and resolve discrepancies.
  • Maintain timely completion of assigned work in a fast-changing manufacturing environment.
  • Work effectively with individuals across different departments and with a variety of personalities and working styles.

 

Required Qualifications

  • 3–10 years of professional experience in manufacturing, production, supply chain, logistics, planning, purchasing, order management, or a related environment.
  • Experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Hands-on experience using Salesforce CRM.
  • Hands-on experience using an ERP system; any ERP platform is acceptable( SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, Infor, Epicor, or similar.
  • Strong experience with data entry and maintaining accurate information across multiple systems.
  • Experience working with production orders, customer orders, part numbers, materials, or planning information.
  • Comfortable moving between ERP, Salesforce, Excel, and other business systems to enter, compare, update, and audit information.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy; accuracy is critical to success in this role.
  • Comfortable performing repetitive data-entry work and maintaining accuracy throughout the day.
  • Basic Excel skills for data entry, tracking, and maintaining spreadsheets; advanced formulas and analysis are not required.
  • Experience working in an environment where priorities and tasks can change throughout the day.
  • Able to quickly shift between tasks and respond to last-minute or time-sensitive requests.
  • Ability to read and understand part numbers (BOM’s – bill of materials) and manufacturing-related information.
  • Professional communication skills and ability to work effectively with different personalities, departments, and working styles.
  • Adaptable personality and comfortable with changing priorities
  • Ability to follow SOPs, documented procedures, and detailed instructions.

Additional Information

  • This is a 12-month contract with excellent potential for extension; last person in the role retired.
  • This position is fully onsite in Dallas, TX 75254. ( Farmers Branch area)
  • The role is part of the Production Planning team.
  • The position will receive hands-on and documented training, including SOPs and established procedures.
  • The workload will vary between high-volume data entry/order updates and system auditing/accuracy checks.
  • Candidates should be comfortable spending significant portions of the workday entering and reviewing information across multiple systems.
