Sr. Program Manager

Location: New York City, NY (Hybrid, 2-3 days onsite)

Pay Rate: $88–$99/hr DOE

Duration: 6-month assignment (high possibility for conversion)

Hours: 40 hours/week


Summary

Our client’s organization is seeking a Senior Program Manager to lead a high-impact, cross-functional initiative spanning Corporate Engineering, People Operations, Finance, and Product Areas. This role plays a pivotal part in shaping enterprise-wide strategies, ensuring alignment across senior leadership, and driving operational excellence at scale.

The ideal candidate is a seasoned program leader with extensive experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder programs in large, global enterprises—particularly those involving workforce planning or systems such as Anaplan, Payroll, or Workday.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end planning, coordination, and execution of large-scale, cross-functional programs that impact Corporate Engineering and its partner organizations.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to Directors and VPs, ensuring clear communication, alignment, and transparency across all stakeholder groups.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive program roadmaps, milestones, and status reports, presenting actionable insights and updates to executive leadership.
  • Proactively identify risks, dependencies, and mitigation strategies to ensure successful program delivery within established timelines and budgets.
  • Leverage data-driven insights to facilitate strategic decision-making and build consensus among diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Promote operational excellence, scalability, and best practice adoption across organizational boundaries to drive continuous improvement.


What You Bring

  • 10+ years of progressive experience managing large-scale, cross-functional programs in complex, global enterprises—preferably within the technology sector.
  • Proven ability to influence and execute within matrixed organizations, collaborating effectively with senior leaders and multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Deep expertise in program management fundamentals, including governance, stakeholder engagement, reporting, and change management.
  • Strong analytical and organizational capabilities with a demonstrated history of delivering measurable business outcomes.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, able to distill complex topics into clear, actionable insights for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Working knowledge or hands-on experience with workforce planning tools and processes, such as Anaplan, Payroll, or Workday.


Bonus Points

  • Experience in enterprise transformation or workforce strategy initiatives.
  • Advanced degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Certification in Program or Project Management (e.g., PMP, PgMP, Agile, or equivalent).
  • Demonstrated success leading cross-organizational alignment efforts across HR, Finance, and Engineering domains.
  • Passion for building scalable systems and processes that enable sustainable growth.
