Sr. Localization Producer
Location: Austin, TX - Hybrid (Onsite 2-3 days)
Pay Rate: $46–$55.97/hr
Duration: 12-month assignment

Summary
Our client’s Global Localization team is seeking a Sr. Localization Producer to support the end-to-end localization of App Store marketing content and multimedia assets across up to 40 languages and regions. This role is key in ensuring that localized experiences are accurate, culturally relevant, and aligned with the brand’s voice and quality standards.
The ideal candidate is an experienced localization producer with exceptional project management skills, fluency in cross-cultural communication, and a passion for delivering content that resonates globally. They thrive in fast-paced, cross-functional environments and are adept at balancing multiple priorities while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full localization workflow for App Store marketing content and video assets—from initial planning and translation through QA and final delivery.
- Collaborate closely with producers, linguists, motion designers, editors, business owners, and external vendors to ensure smooth execution of localization projects.
- Create and manage projects in Translation Management Systems (TMS), overseeing translation, validation, and in-context review stages.
- Track schedules, deliverables, and dependencies across multiple time zones, ensuring all deadlines are met and priorities are clear.
- Prepare detailed briefs for linguists and agency partners, providing all necessary context, references, and brand guidance.
- Review English source materials (copy and transcripts) for spelling, punctuation, and terminology accuracy before localization.
- Monitor the quality of localized copy, subtitles, captions, and other assets to ensure alignment with established tone, accessibility standards, and style guides.
- Manage the input and validation of localized content across internal and vendor systems, maintaining accuracy and consistency across all languages.
- Troubleshoot content, translation, and technical issues in partnership with producers and localization leads.
- Maintain multimedia libraries and ensure all localized video and marketing assets are properly archived and up to date.
- Keep localization process documentation and workflows current with evolving project and business needs.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Linguistics, Translation, Communications, or a related field.

5+ years of experience managing localization projects, preferably within a global technology, media, or creative organization.
- Proven expertise in video localization workflows, including subtitling, captions, transcription, and accessibility deliverables.
- Strong understanding of cultural nuances, tone adaptation, and localization best practices for global audiences.
- Familiarity with translation tools, TMS platforms, termbases, and glossary management.

Experience with video editing tools such as Adobe Premiere, After Effects, or Final Cut.
- Exceptional organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects across teams and time zones.
- Demonstrated ability to identify risks, resolve content and translation issues, and drive projects to completion under tight deadlines.
- Comfortable working in a dynamic environment with shifting priorities and evolving workflows.
