Business Operations Associate

W2 Contract to Possible Hire

Onsite, Rockville, MD

$28/hr Weekly Pay + Benefits

We are known as one of the industry’s most respected and accomplished game development studios. We are seeking a Business Associate to help drive cyclical operations and initiatives for the studio and its supporting cross-functions. In this position you will work with studio, publishing, and administrative stakeholders to ensure smooth studio and operational product outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Support cross functional product management teams by

a)       Taking comprehensive notes of discussion topics in cyclical operational reviews

b)      Clearly noting follow-up actions and ensuring they are being executed

c)       Regularly revisiting membership and distribution lists

d)      Responsible for file management of business product outputs (presentations, materials, etc.)

• Support producers and business manager in generation and tracking of purchase requisitions for product needs

a)       Reconcile invoices to expectations for contract partners

• Support product initiatives by ensuring the validation of accurate time allocations

• Other general Business Team administrative support

• Ad-hoc project tracking and analysis

Qualifications:

• 1-2 years of experience supporting business executives or stakeholders with business operations and or initiatives

• Strong experience with Excel and SharePoint

• Excellent organizational skills

• Clear and concise communicator

• Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment

Preferred Skills :

• General video game industry knowledge

• Knowledge of BGS IP, live and catalog

• Strong aptitude with Microsoft Office suite
