We are looking for a Full Stack Developer to join our StaffingNation department. The Full Stack Developer will be a key member of our engineering team, coding both front- and back-end systems. This individual will assist in making team decisions that will drive the future of our platform’s experience. We are looking for a candidate with experience in developing applications using modern web technologies. We expect a high level of comfort working with PHP/MySQL, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (both client and server side). The right candidate will have experience with responsive layouts, mobile design, and a passion for solid UX.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in all aspects of agile software development, including design, implementation, and deployment
• ·        Architect and provide guidance on building new end-to-end systems optimized for speed and scale
• Maintain and upgrade the software following deployment
• Manage the end-to-end life cycle for the production of software and applications
• Oversee and guide the analyzing, writing, building, and deployment of software
• Modify and test changes to previously developed programs
• Engage and collaborate with front-end engineers, and leading back-end engineers to create reliable APIs
• Collaborate with design teams to ensure that user interactions on web pages are intuitive and engaging
• Collaborate across time zones via Slack, GitHub comments, Confluence, and frequent videoconferences

Qualifications & Skills

• 4-7 years of development or related technical experience
• Expertise in front-end technologies, including JavaScript, CSS3, HTML5 and third-party libraries such as React.js, Node.js, PHP and MVC frameworks\
• Knowledge of server-side programming languages including Java and Python
• Familiarity with DBMS technology, including DynamoDB, Amazon RDS, Aurora, and MySQL and caching mechanisms such as Redis
• Experience with AWS services Lambda, Cognito, IAM, EC2, S3, RDS, ElasticCache, ELB, etc.
• Knowledge of UI/UX and basic prototype design
• Strong understanding of Git
• Experience collaborating with Graphic Designers and Product Managers to produce realistic solutions based on requirements, ensuring the meeting of steady deadlines and high-quality user experiences.
• Strong desire to stay up to date with software trends, and innovative technology, and communicate technical terms with non-technical staff.
• Excellent writing and communication skills
• Ability to visualize a proposed system and be able to build it
