Jr Manufacturing Chemist (Manufacturing/Biological/Life Sciences)

$31hr (Weekly pay)

10 month contract (Great potential for extension or permanent)

Full-time- M-F 7am-4pm

Together they are helping people everywhere live longer, healthier lives. This his position is for an entry-level Production Chemist looking to learn and grow. You will be responsible for supporting the formulation of products and intermediates utilizing biologicals and chemicals of varying properties and characteristics in order to meet specifications following established GMP processes and procedures.

How You'll Make An Impact:

• Responsible for assisting in the bulk formulating products of moderate complexity including intermediates in accordance with approved written procedures and policies.
• Supports the formulation of company Product in team-based manufacturing.
• Follow procedures and work instructions to execute production tasks.
• Complete inventory and quality transaction in SAP Inventory System
• Complete required documentation in an accurate and timely manner following Good Documentation Practices (GDP).

What You Bring: 

• Bachelor’s degree in a life science or related field
• 1-3 years working in a general manufacturing environment formulating products in the areas of biological sciences, life sciences, or education experience
• Basic working knowledge of laboratory environments, materials and equipment.
• Understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices and Good Laboratory Practices.
• Basic understanding or interest learning SAP ERP
• Able to follow detailed procedures and have good documentation skills.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office tools- Excel and Word
