Senior Integration Engineer (Workato)– $82/hr

Remote (U.S.) | 10-Month Assignment

Start Date: March 2, 2026

Weekly Pay + Benefits

About the Role

We’re looking for a hands-on Senior Integration Engineer to help drive two major digital transformation initiatives. This is a highly technical, execution-focused role where you’ll design and rebuild critical integrations across core business platforms.

You won’t just be maintaining existing code. You’ll be architecting and developing high-impact integrations that connect key financial, professional services, and procurement systems. This role is ideal for a developer who enjoys deep, focused coding time while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead the technical rebuild of integrations between core SaaS platforms.
  • Architect and develop connections across systems such as PSA, revenue, expense, and procurement tools.
  • Own the full lifecycle of integration stories—from design discussions to hands-on development.
  • Work in two-week Agile sprints, managing progress and documentation in Jira.
  • Partner with functional analysts to translate business requirements into technical designs and LOE estimates.
  • Build scalable, resilient integrations with strong error handling and logging practices.

What You Bring

  • 6+ years of experience in SaaS integration or middleware engineering.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Workato (required).
  • Additional experience with MuleSoft, Boomi, or Tray.io is a plus.
  • Advanced knowledge of:
  • REST and SOAP APIs
  • Webhooks
  • XML and JSON data structures
  • Experience working with AWS Lambda and S3 for logging or reporting.
  • Background integrating enterprise SaaS systems such as PSA, billing, revenue, or procurement tools.
  • Familiarity with tools like Jira (story tracking) and GitHub (version control).

Work Style & Logistics

  • Highly execution-focused role: approximately 6 hours of daily coding with 2 hours of collaboration.
  • Agile environment with two-week sprint cycles.
  • Must be available during PST or CST business hours.
  • 10-month contract with potential for extension.

If you’re a keyboard-heavy integration engineer who enjoys solving complex system challenges and building scalable solutions, this is a high-impact opportunity to contribute to major transformation initiatives.
