Compensation Analyst (Remote)
Pay Rate: $90/hour
Location: Remote (USA – any time zone)
Duration: 4-month contract ( Excellent potential for extension and permanent)
Full-Time: M-F
Job Brief
The Compensation Analyst will support Compensation team during the critical year-end and Q1 planning cycle. This role is highly analytical and execution-focused, supporting compensation testing, data validation, reporting, compliance, and survey participation. The analyst will play a key role in ensuring accuracy, equity, and compliance across global compensation initiatives.
This position is ideal for a self-starter with strong technical and analytical skills, deep compensation experience, and hands-on expertise with Workday Advanced Compensation and advanced Excel.
Key Responsibilities
- Support annual compensation planning by:
- Testing planning tools
- Identifying red flags and exceptions
- Troubleshooting in-flight planning issues
- Build and maintain dashboards highlighting compensation insights and planning exceptions for People Partners
- Conduct Global Mandatory Increases (GMI), bring-to-minimum, and minimum wage compliance analysis
- Assist with bonus audit processes to ensure accuracy and policy alignment
- Run compensation reports and analyze data from internal systems and market surveys
- Support participation in the Aon Salary Increase and Turnover Study
- Prepare, validate, and support submission of UK Gender Pay Gap reporting
- Perform ad hoc compensation analysis, modeling, and spreadsheet support as needed
Required Qualifications

5–10 years of compensation experience, within global organizations
- Direct hands-on involvement in:
- Compensation planning
- Data analysis
- Compliance and audit support
- Workday Advanced Compensation module experience (required)

Advanced Excel proficiency, including:
- Complex formulas
- Pivot tables
- Data modeling and validation
- Experience supporting global compensation programs
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to analyze large datasets accurately
- Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, high-volume planning environment
Preferred / Bonus Qualifications
- Familiarity with minimum wage compliance across multiple regions
- Experience with UK Gender Pay Gap reporting
- Strong executive-level reporting and dashboarding skills
