Location: US Remote

Pay Rate: $45–$50/hr

Duration: 6 months

Schedule: Full-time

Job Overview

The Benefits Analyst will support benefits operations in the U.S. Analyst will be working independently with general supervision. Is expected to manage and complete various projects and deliverables once specific direction is given. General proficiency with various tools, HRIS systems (Workday), and procedures required to accomplish the job. May need to consult with Senior staff members on some technical issues. May possess a four-year college degree (or additional experience in a related field) and 5 years functional experience including a minimum 3-year position-specific experience.


Job Duties

  • Support end-of-year open enrollment activities; OE file audit, corrections, employee communication.
  • Responsible for timely filing and reporting of ACA requirements, federal and state specific.
  • Responsible for timely filing Non-Discrimination Testing for the 401K Plan.
  • Support Benefits Lead in the on-going management of benefits in the U.S.
  • Support implementation of new benefits programs and vendor set-up.
  • Effective, timely and accurate communication regarding benefits changes or updates.
  • Manage U.S. vendors and broker relationships.
  • Billing audit and processing.
  • Will resolve escalated benefits claims coming from employees.
  • Will work on other benefit-related projects as needed.


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree with course work in business, human resources, or related field.
  • Three to five years of Human Resources Benefits experience preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must have experience with U.S. Benefits Management including Open Enrollment and the ability to answer a wide range of employee benefits questions.
  • Possesses excellent process management, communication, and customer service skills and is comfortable interacting and communicating with all levels of management, associates, candidates, company visitors and telephone callers while responding to their needs in a professional and timely manner.
  • Must have excellent organizational skills and have a high attention to detail, must be able to accurately document and maintain records and files.
  • Must be able to multitask and manage a large volume of work with continuous interruptions while understanding and establishing priorities.
  • Must maintain confidentiality of extremely sensitive candidate and company information.
  • Ability to communicate employment brand in writing.
  • Collaborates with colleagues and thrives in a team environment.
