IT Systems Engineer- Endpoint & Identity

We are looking for an IT Systems Engineer to join our team. This person own US-timezone support for employee devices, identity/access, and deployments—especially Microsoft Intune for Windows and Macs, Active Directory/Entra ID, SSO/MFA, Zoom administration, and hardware purchasing and lifecycle management. They’ll also provide onsite support at the Milpitas facility and coordinate with IT teams in Europe and Ukraine for around-the-clock incident continuity.
What You'll Do
• Administer and troubleshoot Microsoft Intune for macOS and Windows device management, including enrollment, compliance policies
• Manage user identity and access (SSO, MFA, provisioning, security groups) and Active Directory (on-prem and Entra ID hybrid environments)
• Administer Conf call solution for the organization (licensing, meeting/webinar settings, room systems, Scheduler)
• Manage hardware procurement and deployment through the PC HW vendor portal : quote tracking, order status, warranty, and asset lifecycle
• Provide on-site technical support at our Milpitas JIT facility, including hands-on hardware troubleshooting and deployment
• Act as the primary US-timezone escalation point for IT incidents, coordinating with our EMEA and Kyiv-based teams for handoff and continuity
• Support onboarding/offboarding processes, ensuring devices are properly enrolled, secured, and compliant before being handed to end users
• Document recurring issues and contribute to internal knowledge base / runbooks
What You Bring
Required
• 5+ years in an IT systems administration or endpoint engineering role
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune (device enrollment, compliance, configuration profiles)
• Working knowledge of IDP administration (SSO, MFA, provisioning)
• Solid understanding of Active Directory
• Experience administering Zoom at an organizational level
• Familiarity with the HW PC / Mac purchase (quotes, orders, warranty/asset management) and hardware deployment processes
• Comfortable working independently across time zones with a distributed, international team
• Based in San Jose / California
Nice to Have
• Experience with endpoint security tools (e.g., Cortex XDR, OpenText backup/DLP agents)
• Basic PowerShell or Microsoft Graph API scripting for automation
• Apple Business Manager (ABM) device enrollment experience
• ITIL or similar service management framework familiarity
• Prior experience supporting a company through M&A, divestiture, or multi-entity IT environments
