We are seeking an attentive, detail-oriented, self-motivated QA Engineer to join our dynamic, HR technology team - iAlign.Work! The ideal candidate has a keen eye for detail and a passion for continuous improvement. This individual will contribute to a team where innovation, collaboration, and a drive for excellence are at the core. The role will be onsite in a newly renovated building with gym, spa, and upscale dining. You will work closely with both in-house and offshore teams, offering significant opportunities for professional growth and influence.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop test plans and cases using continuous integration and deployment
• Assist in defining and developing our quality assurance standards such as requirements compliance, load testing, security testing, browser compatibility, and design compliance
• Perform all types of test execution including manual, integration, regression, user acceptance, usability test automation, and negative testing with a strong emphasis on manual testing
• Identify quality-focused risk areas and document QA rationale and processes
• Work closely with Development/QA team (in house & offshore) to triage and resolve issues and explore updates, modifications, and ideas
• Create actionable test reports to inform product development

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent professional experience preferred
• years of software QA experience with web-based applications
• Experience with various CMS tools and familiarity with industry best practices
• Working knowledge of source control management systems, databases and programming/scripting languages (e.g. SQL, GraphSQL, HTML-CSS,AWS, JavaScript)
• Knowledge of web application testing tools, defect logging tools and scripting languages
• Ability to identify potential issues and suggest possible solutions
• Excellent creative problem-solving and strong written and verbal communication skills

Additional preferred experience:

• Experience with HR-specific tech development and products is a plus
• Hands-on experience optimizing testing workflows with offshore development teams and using low-cost resources to scale thoroughness and scope of testing
• Excellent analytical abilities with a knack for identifying, scrutinizing, improving, and streamlining complex work processes.
