Salesforce Business Analyst – Developer Programs

Remote, USA (PST WORKING HOURS)

W2 Contract 12+ Months

$120-160/hr + PTO, Paid Holidays & Benefits

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Salesforce Analyst to join the Developer Programs Salesforce Platform team to partner with and support our Developer Engagement business. You will understand their strategic goals and optimize our Salesforce platform to drive business growth and efficiency, and be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining strategic solutions while adhering to (and enforcing) best practices and governance. This is a short-term, project-specific contract position.

What you'll be doing:

• Partnering with stakeholders to understand business needs, lead workshops, facilitate meetings, elicit requirements, communicate tradeoffs, and translate these into detailed functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Designing and maintaining comprehensive BRD’s, process flow diagrams, business and data models, functional specifications, and solution documentation.
• Conducting QA, writing test scripts, and leading UAT.
• Monitoring and recommending improvements for data quality, integrity, security, governance, and process optimizations.
• Managing sprint backlog and prioritization and maintaining a healthy, delivery-ready backlog
• Partnering closely with developers through grooming, sprint ceremonies and ongoing clarification to manage scope, resolve blockers and ensure solutions are delivered as intended.

What we need to see:

• 5+ years of demonstrable experience as a Salesforce Analyst/Consultant, with a comprehensive understanding of Sales Cloud and Experience Cloud (Communities) capabilities (or equivalent experience).
• Ability to influence at various levels.
• Experience in agile methodology and using JIRA or similar technology.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, high EQ, and the ability to establish relationships based on trust.
• Salesforce certifications such as Business Analyst, Administrator/Advanced Administrator.
• Solid understanding of Salesforce security and data management standards.

Nice to Have:

• Additional Salesforce Certifications: Platform Developer, Platform App Builder, Sales Cloud Consultant, and/or Experience Cloud Consultant
• PMP and/or Agile/Scrum certifications
