Job Title: Social Media Marketing Lead

Location: Hybrid (Culver City, CA)

Payrate: $90/hour

Schedule: Full-Time

Duration: 12-month assignment


Summary

We are seeking a highly creative and strategic Social Marketing Media Lead to drive impactful, culturally relevant social campaigns across entertainment content. This role is ideal for a deeply plugged-in, trend-savvy marketer who understands how to build fandom, spark conversation, and deliver measurable results through social storytelling.

You will lead social strategy and execution across multiple campaigns, working cross-functionally with creative teams, agencies, and stakeholders to develop innovative content that resonates with global audiences. The ideal candidate brings a strong understanding of social media platforms, creator ecosystems, and digital culture, along with the ability to operate in a fast-paced, high-visibility environment.


What You’ll Do

  • Lead social strategy, creative development, and execution across marketing campaigns
  • Develop campaign strategies including audience targeting, social creative, influencer/creator partnerships, and distribution across owned, earned, and paid channels
  • Drive innovation in social storytelling and ensure creative excellence across all campaigns and assets
  • Oversee the launch and optimization of marketing assets across social platforms
  • Use internal and external analytics to inform strategy, optimize performance, and iterate on content
  • Manage the full lifecycle of social content across campaigns, ensuring alignment across all channels
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external agencies to execute campaign strategy and creative
  • Track and report on KPIs and performance metrics to drive business impact
  • Ensure brand consistency across messaging, creative, and campaign execution
  • Provide guidance, training, and best practices to cross-functional teams
  • Monitor competitor activity and maintain brand safety standards
  • Partner with marketing teams to integrate social media into broader marketing strategies
  • Develop content marketing and distribution strategies with internal and external partners
  • Collaborate with global teams to align on international social strategies and best practices


What You Bring

  • 7+ years of experience in social or digital marketing, including campaign development, content creation, and agency management
  • Experience working within the film, entertainment, or media industry
  • Deep understanding of social media platforms, trends, and multi-channel distribution strategies
  • Proven ability to develop creative, high-impact campaigns that drive engagement and reach
  • Strong storytelling, communication, and presentation skills
  • Experience working directly with talent, creators, and influencers
  • Ability to use data and insights to inform strategy and content decisions
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with social analytics and publishing tools
  • Understanding of the creator landscape and ability to identify the right partners for campaigns
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills within a matrixed organization
  • Ability to adapt and thrive in a dynamic, evolving environment
  • Passion for entertainment, film, and digital culture
