Production Warehouse Associate

$23 hr Weekly pay + Benefits)

6 month contract (Excellent potential for extension or permanent)

Full-time- Monday—Thursday (6:00am to 4:30pm) 4/10 schedule

In this role you will support a variety of tasks that includes receipt and verification of materials, calibration of equipment, operation of equipment, application of labels, sealing of bags, dispensing dry and/or wet products, capping and torquing of bottles, assembly of components and kits, performing math and measurement calculations, and completing required documentation. Involves using hands, handling objects, tools or controls and reaching with hands/arms, standing, sitting, and bend. Regularly walks, stoops, kneels, crouches, climbs, talks, hears, lifts items, and occasionally moves up to 50 lbs. Involves close vision, color vision, depth perception and adjusting focus. May work near moving mechanical parts or equipment and may be exposed to chemicals and/or hazardous materials, and risk of electric shock. May also work in freezers and coolers and handle dry ice. Noise level is generally moderate. Wears personal protective equipment, as needed.

 

How You'll Make An Impact:

  • Follows all policies and procedures relating to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP/Quality Systems)
  • Inspects product using visual, automated, electronic and mechanical inspection procedures
  • Completes required documentation in an accurate and timely manner following Good Documentation Practices (GDP)
  • Ensures scrap and waste are disposed of properly
  • Operates motorized and non-motorized equipment to move materials and supplies as instructed
  • Complies with 5S and Safety requirements
  • Monitors and maintains inventory at their work areas
  • Keeps Lead appraised of any abnormal production issues


What You Bring:

  • Education: High School diploma or GED
  • 1+ yrs experience Production work
  • Experince in consumables production; like printer ink cartridges, batteries, cleaning supplies, or medical supplies used in a procedure
  • Experience to inspect products and packaging
  • Requires Basic computer skills and able to document work accurately and timely (Good Documentation Practice)
  • Some experience with calibration of equipment and operation of equipment
  • Experience operating manual, semi-auto and automatic production machinery is preferred
  • Experience with application of labels, sealing of bags, dispensing dry and/or wet products, capping of bottles.
  • Assembly of components and kits a plus
  • Experience with SAP ERP a plus
  • Able to lift up to 50lbs occasionally, comfortable standing, sitting and bending.
  • Must have basic math and English reading skills
  • Must pass background and drug test
