Job Title: Warehouse Associate (Picking & Material Handling)

Location: Brownsville, TX (exact address to be provided)

Pay: $15-17hr + overtime potential ( Weekly pay + medical benefits)

Duration: 3–6 month contract (strong potential for extension)

Schedule: Full-time (40 hours/week)

Hours: Flexible start time (7:00 AM, 8:00 AM, or 9:00 AM)

Weekend Work: Occasional Saturdays (advance notice provided + overtime opportunity)

 

Our client is a family owned and managed company established in 1947, they are the world's leading independent supplier of precision DC high voltage power supplies, X-Ray generators and Monoblock® X-Ray sources for medical, industrial and scientific applications. 

 

About the Role

This is a hands-on warehouse role supporting material picking and movement within a fast-paced distribution environment. The position focuses on accurate order picking, material handling, and supporting daily warehouse operations.

This is an urgent, growth-driven hire, with the opportunity to extend based on performance and business needs.

 


Responsibilities

• Pick, pack, and prepare materials for internal distribution

• Move and handle materials throughout the warehouse

• Ensure accuracy of part numbers, quantities, and orders

• Support inventory staging and material flow

• Operate an elevated picking cart (training provided onsite)

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

• Follow all warehouse procedures and safety protocols

• Support day-to-day operations and meet productivity expectations

 

 

Required Qualifications

• 1+ year of warehouse experience (picking, packing, or material handling)

• High school diploma or GED

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically active environment

• Able to learn how to use elevated picking cart - trainer to teach

• Must be able to learn quickly

• Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods

•Experience with warehouse systems or ERP tools (not required — will train)

• Strong attention to detail and reliable

• Ability to follow processes and learn quickly

• Able to speak in English

• Must be able to pass  background check + drug test
