We’re looking for a highly strategic, data-driven Executive Talent Research & Sourcing Specialist who thrives in the art and science of identifying top-tier leadership talent. This is not a traditional recruiting role — it’s a pure top-of-the-funnel, intelligence-driven search position where your ability to map markets, uncover hidden talent, and influence hiring strategy will directly shape leadership teams.

What You’ll Do
- Lead executive-level talent research and sourcing strategy across highly competitive markets
- Conduct deep market mapping to identify and engage Sr. Director, VP, and SVP-level talent (leaders of leaders)
- Build and deliver highly targeted, high-quality talent pipelines aligned to niche and confidential searches
- Act as a strategic advisor, providing insights on talent availability, competitor landscapes, and market trends
- Partner closely with recruiters and hiring leaders to calibrate profiles and refine search strategies
- Drive top-of-funnel engagement — outreach, relationship building, and initial candidate assessment
- Navigate confidential and sensitive searches with professionalism and discretion
- Manage multiple executive searches simultaneously while maintaining a high bar for quality and precision
What Makes You a Strong Fit
- Proven experience in executive talent research and sourcing (Sr. Director, VP, SVP level)
- Background in Executive Search firms (e.g., Heidrick & Struggles, Spencer Stuart, Egon Zehnder, Korn Ferry, True, etc.)
- Track record of sourcing within top-tier tech environments (MAANG or similar)
- Experience supporting mid-sized tech companies navigating scale and transformation
- Expertise in market mapping, talent intelligence, and competitive research
- Strong ability to identify and engage niche, hard-to-reach talent pools
- Skilled in candidate outreach, engagement, and early-stage assessment
- Exceptionally detail-oriented, curious, and data-driven
- Comfortable speaking in depth about your sourcing strategies, approach, and results
What This Role Is NOT
To ensure alignment, this role is not focused on:
- Full lifecycle recruiting or offer negotiation
- GTM, Marketing, or Healthcare recruiting backgrounds
- People leadership within Talent Acquisition
- Generalist or “jack-of-all-trades” recruiting profiles
- Stakeholder-heavy roles focused primarily on coordination vs. strategy
