Our amazing Non-Profit Partner is hiring a Sr. Human Resources Director to join their team to be responsible for all strategic and operational functions that foster a positive and productive workplace. The Senior HR Manager will oversee recruitment and employee onboarding, administer benefits, ensure compliance with labor laws, and manage HR policies. This role will champion employee development, nurture the organization’s internal culture, and lead performance management efforts. This is an exempt position.

 

Job Duties:

·      Performance Management

·      Completion, Retention and Maintenance of Compliant HR and Payroll Records

 

Other Responsibilities:

·      Oversee the entire recruitment lifecycle, including applicant screening, interviewing, and onboarding new hires to ensure RMHC-SD attracts and retains top talent.

·      Design and manage comprehensive onboarding programs that effectively integrate new employees and ensure they receive the necessary training to excel in their roles.

·      Manage and administer benefits packages, ensuring that employees are well-informed and that programs are competitive and compliant with regulatory standards.

·      Act as the cultural ambassador, enhancing team camaraderie, organizing company events, and fostering a positive internal community. Maintain, plan and celebrate key company dates and milestones (i.e. work anniversaries, birthdays and other celebrations).

·      Design, create and distribute culture enhancing and timely newsletters that increase employee engagement and organizational communication.

·      Collaborate with the executive management team in setting company policies related to employee behavior, expectations, and overall organizational culture.

·      Ensure all HR practices and policies are in full compliance with federal and state labor laws, safeguarding the company against legal risks.

·      Serve as the primary contact for staff inquiries regarding HR policies and employment related issues.

·      Address and resolve workplace conflicts in a manner that promotes employee engagement and fosters a healthy work environment.

·      Develop, implement, and manage programs that facilitate continuous employee development, aligning with both individual and organizational goals.

·      Administer and complete the organization’s performance management processes by assisting managers and supervisors to create and monitor the achievement of goals and objectives for their employees.

·      Manage the compensation structure of the organization to ensure that compensation is competitive, fair and appropriate and that it aligns with company objectives.

·      Complete, store and maintain compliant HR records necessary for onboarding, offboarding, and the maintenance of employee benefits in the HR and 403b system.

·      Administer compliant leave administration for employees on leave.

·      Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skill, and Experience:

·      Bachelor’s Degree and HR Certification

·      Minimum Experience required: Three or more years of experience in the essential functions outlined above

·      Must be fluent in Spanish

·      Skills Required: Proficiency in Excel, Microsoft Word and Microsoft Outlook
