Research Analyst (Histology)

W2 3+ Month Contract to Possible Hire

$30-35/hr

Our easy-to-use and consistently reliable offerings help improve workflow efficiency and diagnostic confidence. Our AI team has a contract need for an entry level research analyst to assist on a 4–6-month project.

 

The Research Analyst will work onsite in our Vista location, under the general supervision of a member of our Clinical AI Applications team and play a crucial role in data collection. We would consider someone who is still in school, working on their maters. For a master’s student, we would work around their school schedule and accept them working less than 40 hours.

 

 

Essential Job Responsibilities

  • Identify and annotate glass slides (review images on a screen and identify artifacts (histology and digital)
  • Follow SOP including annotation protocols.
  • Documentation, including collating data.
  • Participate the process of troubleshooting and root cause analysis discussion.

 

Requirements

  • Either pursuing or completed college degree in biology, biomedical, chemistry, or related field.
  • Previous internship or work experience as a lab tech or in the field of medical, engineering, biotech, pharmaceutical, or medical device industry.
  • Usage of annotation tools i.e., Label Studio, AWS Sagemaker, etc.
  • Able to work independently while following priorities.
  • Detail oriented and good documentation skills.
  • Brightfield Microscopy, Pathology, Histology, or Cytology knowledge preferred.
  • Digital Pathology knowledge a plus.
