Account Manager- Post Sales (B2B/Saas Renewals)

Location: Canada — Remote (*Must be based in Canada)

Full-time, Monday–Friday, 9:00am–5:00pm (local time)

Note: Must be able to attend some meetings aligned to US/PST

Employment Type: Contract – with great potential to extend



This role will be hired at two levels, based on experience:

 

Senior Account Manager - 5-12yrs experience

  • Contract Length: 12 months ( Great potential for extensions)
  • Pay Rate: $50.27 CAD/hour
  • Bonus: $6,302 CAD per quarter (capped at $9,453 CAD/quarter)

Jr Account Manager - 3-5 yrs experience

  • Contract Length: 18 months (Great potential for extension)
  • Pay Rate: $43.71 CAD/hour
  • Bonus: $5,480 CAD per quarter (capped at $8,220 CAD/quarter)

About the Role

As an Account Manager- Post Sales (B2B/Saas Renewals)  on the Enterprise team, you will own and drive renewals, retention, and expansion across a high-volume portfolio of customers. This is a post-sales focused role, not a hunter position, and is ideal for candidates who enjoy building long-term customer relationships and managing scale. You will serve as the primary commercial owner for your accounts and work cross-functionally with Customer Success, Account Executives, Legal, Finance, and Implementation teams to ensure strong product adoption and smooth renewal processes.


 

Key Responsibilities

  • Own commercial responsibility (RR & NARR) for a portfolio of approximately 100 enterprise customers, representing $3M–$4M in ARR
  • Lead and manage 60–80 customer renewals annually, including pricing, negotiation, and expansion conversations
  • Drive renewal and growth discussions across all Enterprise product lines (Business, Campus, Government)
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customer stakeholders, including executive decision-makers
  • Partner cross-functionally to ensure seamless contract execution and customer success
  • Develop and execute account management and renewal strategies to drive early renewals and expansion
  • Translate new product features into value-driven solutions aligned to customer needs
  • Maintain accurate CRM data, renewal tracking, and forecasting
  • Operate effectively in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment



Qualifications (Level Based)

Candidates will be considered at either level based on experience and demonstrated capability.

 

Required for All Candidates

  • Must have experience in B2B SaaS within Account Management and/or post-sales roles
  • Strong experience with customer renewals and account ownership
  • Comfortable managing a large book of business and multiple deadlines
  • Experience handle volume of work; Lead and manage 60–80 customer renewals annually, including pricing, negotiation, and expansion conversations
  • Experience engaging with Legal, Finance, and Procurement teams
  • Excellent communication, organization, and time-management skills
  • Must be curious, resilient, and coachable mindset with strong ownership and accountability
  • Ability to solve through thought process and curiosity
  • Ability to learn from mistakes, take accountability and grow

Experience Expectations

  • (Junior): 3–5 years of relevant B2B SaaS account management or customer-facing experience
  • (Senior): 5+ years of relevant B2B SaaS account management experience with demonstrated independence and scale

 


Nice-to-Have

  • Experience with Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar CRM platforms
  • Experience using forecasting tools such as Clari
  • Exposure to account expansion or light prospecting (not required)
