Head of Programming West Region

Payrate: $90 - $98/hour 

Location: Hybrid (Culver City, CA)

Duration: 12 month assignment  

Hours: 40 hours / week

 

Summary:

Our worldwide Retail Engagement, Marketing, and Merchandising (REMM) team defines, creates, and delivers programs, campaigns, and experiences that help our retail customers and teams discover, be inspired by, learn about, and go further with our revolutionary products and services.

 

As Head of Programming, you will be the driving force behind our culturally relevant programming across our global program of creative and educational sessions offered at our retail stores, supporting high-profile sessions to group reservations. You’ll work closely with regional store teams, internal partners, and external talent to create and deliver innovative programming that fosters community engagement and brings the retail experience to life.

 

This role requires strategic vision, operational excellence, and a deep understanding of cultural and creative industries. You’ll set quarterly and yearly programming roadmaps, lead pan-geo initiatives, and establish KPIs to measure success.

 

What You’ll Do:

  • Build regional and geo-wide programming strategies that deliver culturally relevant in-store, virtual, and digital content across all formats
  • Lead programming for assigned region, identifying talent that aligns with brand values and collaborating with store teams and within Retail on impactful events
  • Develop and oversee strategic plans for pan-geo initiatives tied to key business priorities, setting operational roadmaps in partnership with regional Heads of Programming and Programming Producers
  • Maintain a strong understanding of the business to lead and curate on country/market level programming to deliver culturally relevant and strategic in-store and/or virtual content across all formats of our educational programs
  • Partner with cross-functional teams including field leadership to identify new opportunities, initiate, and write briefs to ensure that each opportunity is aligned with clear business objectives that contribute to our retail proposition
  • Use data and measurement tools to track, measure, and report program results, identifying challenges and opportunities to optimize and evolve strategies

What You Bring:

  • Proven ability to create strategic content experiences that engage audiences and meet business and marketing objectives
  • Significant experience managing high-profile events and partnerships, including live, virtual, and broadcast events and experiences
  • Strong ability to influence peers and executives through crisp, data-driven, and strategic communication and briefs
  • Deep connections within cultural and creative industries within the Western region, with the ability to identify and source relevant talent
  • Ability to manage multiple cross-functional teams include and are not limited to: Programming, Production, Creative, Product Marketing, Public Relations, Store Operations, Internal Communications, Training, Merchandising, Finance, Online Store, Store Strategies, Publishing, Procurement, and Marcom.
