Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior AutoCAD/Revit Supervisor to lead CAD operations supporting the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) West Base Operations Support Contract.

 

This position combines hands-on AutoCAD/Revit expertise with team leadership, quality control, workload planning, customer support, and performance management. The Supervisor serves as the AutoCAD subject matter expert while leading employees responsible for CAD drawings, drawing requests, prints, reviews, and related project support.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise CAD staff, assigning work based on project requirements, complexity, deadlines, and employee capabilities.
  • Establish daily, weekly, and monthly workflows to ensure deadlines, production goals, and performance standards are achieved.
  • Serve as the AutoCAD subject matter expert and provide technical guidance to employees, managers, government customers, and other stakeholders.
  • Create, implement, and enforce AutoCAD and Revit standards.
  • Review drawings and related documentation for accuracy, completeness, quality, and compliance with established standards.
  • Develop performance metrics, conduct quality control inspections, and identify opportunities to improve productivity, efficiency, and work quality.
  • Manage CAD and drawing requests, prints, drawing reviews, and customer inquiries.
  • Assist the Planning Manager – Engineering with contract development, planning, estimating, customer coordination, quality assurance, and internal quality control.
  • Monitor workloads, schedules, actual performance, and team productivity and provide required performance reporting.
  • Train, coach, and evaluate employees and identify developmental and technical training needs.
  • Participate in hiring, employee counseling, performance management, promotions, reassignments, and disciplinary processes.
  • Complete supervisory responsibilities including timesheets, employee evaluations, management training, and staff training.
  • Develop safety and job-skills training materials and provide training to personnel.
  • Ensure compliance with ServiceSource and government requirements related to security, quality control, safety/PPE, and training.
  • Ensure employees have the equipment and resources needed to perform their work safely and effectively.
  • Communicate with government customers, Contracting Officer Representatives, managers, supervisors, employees, and other stakeholders to resolve issues and support project requirements.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree plus a minimum of 5 years of related experience, or high school diploma/state-certified equivalent plus 10 years of related experience, required.
  • Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, Builder, and project completion processes.
  • Experience leading or supervising employees, assigning workloads, managing schedules, and evaluating performance.
  • Knowledge of CAD standards, drawing quality control, and technical document review.
  • Experience with administrative and project systems, including Microsoft Office and project management software.
  • Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) and Archibus.
  • Strong customer service, communication, organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and maintain high standards for accuracy and quality.
  • Top Secret/SCI government security clearance is required.
