Strategy Developer | Crypto HFT & Market Making | APAC Based (Singapore/Hong Kong Remote) | Up to $250,000 + Bonus

Albert Bow is working with a leading high-frequency trading firm in the global cryptocurrency market, trading a significant share of market turnover with teams across five continents. They’re looking for an experienced Strategy Developer to join their APAC team, working closely with traders to design, implement, and optimise low-latency market making and arbitrage strategies.

This is a high-impact, hands-on role for someone who thrives in fast-paced trading environments and wants to build performant systems at scale.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop market making and HFT strategies for crypto markets
• Optimise trading algorithms for low latency and high throughput
• Write clean, maintainable, production-ready C++ and Python code
• Monitor live trading algorithms for technical performance, risk, and P&L impact
• Collaborate closely with traders, developers, and the wider strategy team
• Improve systems for automated 24/7/365 trading and monitoring
• Contribute to architecture discussions, code reviews, and strategy brainstorming sessions

Requirements

• 3+ years developing high-performance trading strategies in crypto or traditional markets
• Strong C++ skills on Linux for low-latency systems
• Experience with market making and/or HFT arbitrage strategies
• Solid understanding of risk within trading strategy design and portfolio management
• Familiarity with latency-optimised distributed systems handling high transaction volumes
• Ability to balance rapid deployment of new features with clean, testable, reliable code
• Willingness to be on-call for the systems you develop

Nice to Have

• Experience with network programming (UDP, TCP, TLS, Websockets)
• Profiling and performance tuning with tools like Cachegrind or Valgrind
• Familiarity with shared memory and inter-process messaging
• Experience with cloud infrastructure such as AWS
• Linux configuration and system monitoring skills
