ETF Trader - Director level | Equity ETF Trading | New York, USA

We’re partnered with a leading Multinational Investment Bank who is expanding its ETF and Delta One trading platform into the U.S. We are looking for a Director-level ETF Trader to join the expanding Global Markets team.

This is a front-office trading role focused on custom and quantitative ETF trading, working closely with the Program Trading desk to facilitate creations and redemptions, manage risk, and deliver bespoke client solutions.

You’ll play a key role in building out the ETF trading capabilities as part of a high-performing, collaborative desk that bridges between ETF, Delta One, and CIB (Custom Index Basket) businesses.

Responsibilities

• Trade and manage risk across ETF and Delta One products, with a focus on custom baskets and creation/redemption flows.
• Collaborate with Program Trading, Quant, and Sales teams to execute client-driven and index-related strategies.
• Support the buildout and refinement of the firms ETF trading infrastructure in the U.S. market.
• Analyze market trends and execution strategies to optimize performance and liquidity.
• Contribute to team growth by sharing insights, best practices, and helping shape a scalable trading platform.

Experience

• 4-8 years of experience on an ETF or Delta One trading desk at a large or mid-tier investment bank.
• Strong understanding of ETF creation and redemption processes and program trading coordination.
• Prior exposure to Custom Index Baskets (CIBs) or similar structured equity products is a must.
• Quantitatively minded and comfortable working with data-driven trading strategies.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills within a multi-desk environment.

This role is office based in New York, US with a salary paying up to $250,000 Base
