Our client is an early-stage quantitative trading and AI company building real-time intelligence systems for global financial markets. Combining machine learning, high-performance computing and systematic trading, they're assembling a world-class engineering team to build the next generation of market infrastructure.

The Role

As a founding Platform Engineer, you'll build and own the infrastructure powering live trading, research and machine learning. Working closely with founders, traders and researchers, you'll design scalable, reliable systems that give the firm a technological edge.

Requirements

• Strong Linux and AWS experience.
• Excellent programming skills in Python (Go, Rust, C++ or Java beneficial).
• Experience building and operating production infrastructure.
• Knowledge of Terraform, CI/CD and observability tooling.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, Redis, Kafka, ClickHouse or similar technologies.

Nice to Have

• Experience supporting trading, quantitative research or low-latency systems.
• Strong understanding of security, reliability and distributed systems.
• Background in high-performance engineering or financial markets.
