Senior Software Engineer | San Francisco | AI/Customer Experience | Up to $230K + equity

We are working with a YC backed start-up who are in the AI space, they help customer experience teams level up performance through automated coaching.

They You'll take ownership of key tech decisions, shape the product, mentor others, and grow in unexpected ways. Expect hands-on impact across the stack – from AI integrations to core architecture – with plenty of “wow, we built that” moments along the way.

Day-to-Day:

• Design and scale systems that analyse large volumes of customer interactions from various platforms, surfacing insights and performance signals in real time
• Build adaptive training tools across chat, voice, and video that respond naturally to user input, creating lifelike roleplay experiences
• Craft responsive, high-speed interfaces capable of managing complex AI workflows without compromising user experience
• Support teammates through hands-on mentoring while helping shape key technical choices and long-term engineering direction

Skills/Experience:

• Proven experience thriving in fast-paced, constantly evolving start-up environments
• Skilled at building and shipping complex, user-facing products from the ground up
• Deep expertise in modern web technologies, especially TypeScript and Next.js
• Comfortable owning key technical decisions, leading parts of the product, mentoring teammates, and continuously learning new tools and frameworks
