I'm working a live mandate for a global bank's New York trading floor. This is a backfill, and it's moving fast.

The seat:

This desk runs a serious G10 forwards franchise and needs a trader who can step in and own it from day one. You'll be building on an existing forward book, not starting from scratch.

The role has three core pillars:

• Quoting and pricing FX forwards across G10 currencies
• FX swaps with a clear read on hedging via futures or cross currency
• Afternoon book coverage picking up yen, Aussie and kiwi, and backing up London's euro, sterling and Swiss books once EMEA winds down

If you've run a traditional FX forwards business and know G10 inside out, this is worth a conversation.

What we're looking for:

• Strong G10 FX forwards experience, ideally the full curve outside CAD
• A background in traditional FX trading, not just macro or options crossover
• A track record of consistent success and hitting targets, not one good year
• VP or Director level, with the tenure to match
• A collaborative operator who works well within a wider trading team
