Business Development Manager – Proprietary Trading Firm

We've working with a fast-growing, full-stack proprietary trading firm to find their next Business Development Manager. Our client operates a sophisticated, latency-sensitive trading infrastructure with proprietary algorithms and execution technology spanning multiple asset classes, and has direct access to major exchanges globally. This is a rare opportunity to join a technically elite trading operation at a stage where you'll have real influence over how the business builds external partnerships.

The Opportunity:

Reporting directly into senior leadership, you'll sit at the intersection of the trading, operations, and strategy functions, owning external relationships and helping shape how the firm engages with the wider market ecosystem. This is a high-visibility, high-autonomy role suited to someone who thrives on due diligence, relationship-building, and closing commercial partnerships.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Building and managing relationships with key ecosystem stakeholders, partners, developers, exchanges, and builders, to support the firm's growth
• Representing the firm externally, articulating both buy-side and sell-side operations to partners and counterparties
• Spotting and evaluating new collaboration and partnership opportunities
• Partnering cross-functionally with Strategy, Corporate Development, Product, Engineering, and Legal on BD initiatives
• Leading due diligence on prospective partnerships, business opportunities, and venture investments
• Contributing to quarterly research on industry trends and market dynamics
• Helping refine and improve the firm's overall approach to business development
• Travelling domestically and internationally as needed

What Our Client Is Looking For:

• 3+ years' experience in business development, sales, or account management
• 1–2 years' experience in crypto, or a demonstrable, genuine interest in and understanding of the space (DeFi exposure is a strong plus)
• Research experience within financial services is a bonus (1+ years)
• Solid grasp of market book liquidity and market-making dynamics
• A real, provable interest in CeFi/DeFi with an analytical approach to market trends
• Quick to learn and adapt to new tools and technologies
• A self-starter who takes ownership and drives things to completion without hand-holding
• Fluent English required; Korean or Spanish is a strong plus

$75k - $150k + Bonus
