Senior Rust Engineer | Remote (Global) | Decentralized Systems | Up to $200K + equity

We’re working with a fast-growing Web3 infrastructure company building recovery and security solutions for decentralized networks. Their platform is tackling one of the biggest challenges in the space: how to make recovery systems scalable, secure, and user-friendly without compromising decentralisation.

This is a chance to work at the heart of cutting-edge Rust engineering, designing core APIs and system components that will be used globally. You’ll join an experienced team of engineers, working closely with product and architecture to ship high-quality code and set the standard for best practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain APIs and system components in Rust
• Build robust, scalable infrastructure that avoids long-term architectural pitfalls
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and integration points
• Contribute to code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure high-quality standards
• Stay ahead of industry trends and introduce best practices into system design

Skills

• 5+ years in software engineering with 3+ years recent hands-on Rust experience
• Strong track record of writing clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
• Experience producing and consuming APIs (REST, GraphQL, gRPC a plus)
• Solid problem-solving skills with an eye for scalable, long-term architecture
• Comfortable working collaboratively in distributed teams
• Bonus: exposure to blockchain, decentralized systems, or distributed ledger tech
• Bonus: familiarity with DevOps practices (CI/CD, containerisation, Docker)
