About the Company

Our client is a leading digital asset trading and technology firm building the infrastructure behind institutional crypto markets. Operating at the intersection of finance, trading and blockchain, they develop low-latency systems that power market making, OTC trading and exchange connectivity across global digital asset markets.

The Role

They're looking for a hands-on Rust Engineer to join their High-Frequency Trading team, building the systems closest to live trading. You'll develop and optimise order management systems, market data infrastructure, exchange connectivity and execution components where performance and latency are critical.

Requirements

  • Strong commercial Rust experience in low-latency or high-performance systems.
  • Experience building OMS, feed handlers and/or trading strategy infrastructure.
  • Strong understanding of low-level networking, protocol implementation and latency optimisation.
  • Production experience with FIX, WebSocket or proprietary exchange protocols.
  • Experience building high-throughput parsing pipelines and distributed systems.

Nice to Have

  • Background in institutional trading, HFT or crypto market making.
  • Experience with kernel bypass technologies (DPDK, RDMA or similar).
  • Knowledge of lock-free concurrency and high-performance systems programming.
  • C++ experience or exposure to options and derivatives trading.

Why Join?

  • Build core infrastructure powering institutional digital asset trading.
  • Work on genuinely low-latency, performance-critical systems.
  • Join a collaborative engineering team with high ownership and technical autonomy.
  • Competitive compensation, comprehensive healthcare, pension, learning budget and regular international team offsites.
