Our client is seeking a skilled Senior Electrical Engineer to join their Reliability E&I team. This role offers an exciting opportunity for an experienced engineer to contribute to the successful execution of electrical engineering services and projects, working under the guidance of senior engineers. The Senior Electrical Engineer will play a key role in supporting the optimization of operations, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of facility performance.


Responsibilities:

  • Assist in day-to-day troubleshooting and monitoring of electrical systems and units, ensuring reliable operations.
  • Conduct research on engineering projects, making evaluations and providing recommendations with minimal supervision.
  • Analyze technical data, summarize findings, and present them in scheduled reports, ensuring clarity and accuracy.
  • Lead investigations into electrical incidents, including conducting root cause failure analysis to identify corrective actions.
  • Perform routine assignments within a collaborative team environment, ensuring timely and efficient task completion.
  • Provide technical support to routine maintenance and business teams, assisting with performance optimization for both business units and the site.
  • Support Process Safety Management (PSM) programs, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and regulatory standards.
  • Apply economic evaluations to engineering projects, focusing on enhancing profitability and reducing project costs.
  • Develop clear scopes of work for maintenance repairs, work orders, and shutdown procedures, ensuring all tasks are properly defined.
  • Develop and implement preventative maintenance procedures to increase the reliability and lifespan of electrical systems.
  • Provide off-shift troubleshooting support as necessary to address urgent technical issues.
  • Assist in the maintenance and support of Honeywell TDC systems.
  • Contribute to the planning of routine shutdowns, recommending the scope of work to ensure efficient and safe operations during downtime.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in electrical engineering within the petrochemical, refining, or industrial sector.
  • U.S. Citizens or U.S. Green Card holders only. The client is unable to sponsor or approve TN-1 Visas.
