Cyclomedia has seen strong business growth over the recent years and to keep further accelerating our growth we are looking for a Finance Accountant. 

In this role you will be responsible for the financial accounting, treasury, and tax accounting of the Dutch organization, which includes international transactions.  You will ensure an accurate, consistent, timely, and efficient financial administration. You will work closely together with the Finance Manager Europe and Group Controller.

• Responsible for the financial administration of the Dutch legal entities including tax and treasury
• Managing the company's financial accounting and adherence to accounting guidelines
• Liaising with auditors to ensure appropriate monitoring of company finances is maintained.
• Coaching the financial department colleagues (Financial Assistants) as well as performing regular transactional tasks
• Having controls and an approval flow (including required systems) in place
• Responsible for the monthly end-closing
• Maintaining banking relationships
• Monitoring the day-to-day financial operations within the company (payroll, invoicing, and other transactions)
• Ensuring compliance with accounting policies and regulatory requirements
• Make sure that fiscal legal requirements are met (for instance VAT)
• Keeping up to date with technological advances and accounting software to be used for financial and reporting purposes

Job requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration
• 10 + years of relevant experience
• Preferably in a corporate and/or PE portfolio company (ICT/Technology)
• Commercial and business awareness
• Excellent people management skills, good motivator
• Strong communication skills, able to communicate on different levels in the organization
• Strong analytical capabilities
• Sound judgment, professional and personal integrity
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills, with high proficiency in Microsoft applications, particularly Excel
• Entrepreneurial mindset
• Strong English and Dutch language skills
• Knowledge of Financial Software, preferably Exact Globe or similar GL accounting systems
