Machinists/Technicians are expected to demonstrate increasing skill, autonomy, and leadership across five progressive levels.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

Perform all manufacturing processes to complete finished products in the assigned work area. Responsibilities include fabrication operations on stainless and carbon steel components using CNC machinery, robotic systems, lasers, brake presses, and finishing tools. Machinists/Technicians perform complex fabrication tasks to support the manufacturing of our products. Duties include setup, operation, and troubleshooting of machines and tools, as well as quality checks using precision instruments.


General Duties

  • Set up and operate CNC machines, robotic system, brake presses, and finishing equipment.
  • Fabricate stainless and carbon steel parts according to specifications.
  • Perform layout work, inspections, and final checks using measuring instruments and templates.
  • Interpret engineering drawings and models for fabrication tasks.
  • Maintain clean and organized work area.
  • Operate forklifts, cranes, and lifting devices (as certified).
  • Follow all safety rules and wear appropriate PPE.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisor.
  • Perform basic production tasks under supervision.
  • Develop proficiency in foundation skills, including:
  • Reading and interpreting blueprints
  • Material handling and part finishing
  • Operating forklifts and overhead cranes
  • Performing basic ERP transactions (Kinetic)
  • Perform routine fabrication tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Performing basic machine operations.
  • Conducting visual and dimensional inspections using templates and gauges.
  • Executing safe and effective part flow coordination.
