Strategic Sales Executive – Energy Solutions (National)


Overview:

A leading global organization in the energy sector is expanding its U.S. commercial team and seeking an accomplished Strategic Sales Executive to drive national business development efforts. This is a high-impact role suited for a driven, relationship-oriented professional with experience in complex B2B sales—ideally within industrial, manufacturing, or petrochemical verticals. Executives with strong commercial backgrounds in the automotive sector will also be considered.


About the Role:

This position will focus on expanding the company’s footprint across key industries by identifying, cultivating, and securing new strategic partnerships and long-term customers. The ideal candidate understands the nuances of commodity-based sales and thrives in a consultative selling environment that requires both technical aptitude and polished executive presence.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead strategic customer acquisition efforts across the U.S., targeting high-volume industrial and commercial buyers.
  • Build and maintain deep, trusted relationships with procurement and executive-level stakeholders.
  • Navigate long sales cycles involving technical teams, legal, and commercial operations.
  • Represent the company’s portfolio of refined and specialty products, aligning solutions with customer-specific needs.
  • Provide input on pricing strategies, customer feedback, and market dynamics to internal teams.


What You Bring:

  • Proven success in high-level B2B sales (energy, automotive, industrials, or chemicals preferred).
  • Experience navigating complex deal structures and multi-stakeholder decision processes.
  • Strong understanding of the commercial landscape within energy or heavy industries.
  • High degree of professionalism, integrity, and discretion.
  • National travel required (up to 50%).
