With a committed leadership team to Health & Safety, you will be well supported as the Head of Health & Safety for this Transport business who are on the path of continual improvement.

You will implement improvements to the safety management systems across the business in line with the 3 year revolving safety plan. The risk profile includes, depots, drivers and road safety as well as the ever changing operational risks as they transform the business to a fully electric fleet.

Based in West London, you will lead the business to provide an encouraging environment which is best in class and promotes health and safety compliance and consistency across all areas. The risks are of course varied, which makes standardised systems and processes which are effective incredibly valuable.

Ideal experience for the Head of Health & Safety role includes:

• Previous experience in a Senior Health & Safety, HSE, SHEQ or HSEQ role.
• Implementing solid processes and ensuring consistency.
• Desired experience within one of the following sectors - Transport, Logistics, Airports, or other industry with experience of Heavy Goods Vehicles or similar.
• Committed to excellence and building best in class procedures and systems.
• Knowledge or experience managing claims would be advantageous.

Package:

In the region of £80,000 to £100,000 plus travel card, 10% pension and 20% bonus.
