You will play a pivotal role ensuring the health and safety of staff on client sites as well as being an integral point of contact for top retail brands. The company partners with top retail brands providing Construction, Mechanical & Electrical and Fit-Out projects. You can be based from any of their main sites in the North, Bradford, Leeds or Castleford and will travel to sites to get eyes on projects to better support the teams on site.

Responsibilities:

Engaging with site-based teams to continually support the needs of the team and clients, instilling a robust and efficient SHEQ function. This role will naturally fit someone with experience of managing SHEQ / HSE compliance on similar projects where health and safety is of paramount importance. The site teams will be seeking your support and guidance on all things HSE related to ensure they are carrying out their duties with upmost care for themselves, their colleagues and client employees on site. You will be great with people and able to clearly explain the importance of good health safety practise as well as monitoring and documenting compliance against SHEQ standards.

Ideal candidate experience:

• Health and Safety / HSE / SHEQ experience in Construction, Mechanical & Electrical or Fit-Out. Or similar, Property Maintenance, Property Management etc.
• NEBOSH General Certificate qualified, ideally NEBOSH Construction
• Other qualifications such as CSCS Card, Asbestos Awareness, IOSH Managing Safely / SMSTS would be great but can all be trained.

Package:

Up to £36,000 plus £5,000 Allowance or Company Car
