Immediate start available for Freelance Contractor to support a Logistics business in Northampton.

The role requires you to audit the site, existing documentation, processes, procedures and operations to produce a gap analysis across all areas. Using this information to tweak, re-write or create processes and procedures to keep the business compliant with health and safety within a warehousing / logistics environment. This is a large site with 500+ staff working across two shifts with a typical risk profile for this type of business and site. Once created, you will help to role out any new processes as well as raise accountability of supervisory staff to take on proactive health & safety actions.

The role will suit someone with previous experience managing health & safety of a warehousing environment, which can be from any sector which requires an element of storage and distribution, such logistics, manufacturing, retail etc.

Ideal candidate profile for this Health & Safety Consultant role:

• NEBOSH qualified
• Experience managing warehousing risk
• Able to review, create and amend policies and procedures
• Guide and support the roll out of health & safety accountability
• Available for immediate start

Day rate £400-500 per day.
