The Role

As a key player in the cost management team, you will:

• Oversee project costs from inception to completion, including cost planning, budgeting, and control
• Prepare detailed cost estimates, tender documents, and valuations
• Act as a trusted advisor to clients, offering expert cost advice
• Monitor budgets, expenditures, and risk, ensuring cost efficiency
• Manage contracts, including variations, claims, and settlements
• Lead and mentor junior team members, driving excellence
• Ensure projects meet industry standards while delivering maximum value

What We’re Looking For

• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or similar
• Ideally Chartered (RICS) or working towards it
• Strong experience in QS and EA roles, particularly in our core sectors
• Expertise in NEC & JCT contracts
• Proficiency in cost estimating and project management software
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills
• A proactive, detail-oriented approach with strong analytical abilities
