They are seeking an Associate Civil Engineer to join their Leicester team. This role offers a unique opportunity for a driven professional to lead and shape the civil engineering division, contributing to a variety of projects including infrastructure, drainage, and highway schemes for new developments.

Key Responsibilities
· Build, develop, and lead a talented civil engineering team, fostering a culture of mentorship, collaboration, and continuous learning.
· Drive team growth by recruiting and nurturing talent, ensuring the team’s capabilities align with project demands.
· Act as a technical expert, providing guidance on the design and delivery of infrastructure schemes (roads, drainage, external works).
· Oversee the design of sustainable drainage systems and s278 highway schemes, including roundabouts and signal junctions.
· Manage projects to company standards, ensuring quality, timeliness, and client satisfaction.
· Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships, securing repeat business and identifying opportunities for new collaborations.
· Attend and lead client-facing meetings with authorities, agencies, and other stakeholders.
Ideal Candidate
· Minimum 10 years of relevant experience, with a proven track record of technical excellence and team leadership.
· Proficient in design software such as AutoCAD, PDS, Civils 3D, XPSite3D, and Micro Drainage.
· Strong working knowledge of highway and drainage standards.
· Demonstrated ability to build and manage client relationships effectively.
· Passionate about mentoring and developing team members, with excellent communication and leadership skills.
