We’re proud to be partnering with a well-established, forward-thinking independent consultancy, currently looking to add an ambitious Quantity Surveyor to their growing Manchester team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a QS with 2 to 4 years of experience who is currently working towards APC accreditation (or recently chartered) and eager to gain hands-on experience across a varied and meaningful project portfolio. You’ll work across sectors including commercial development, leisure & hospitality, education, and public sector regeneration – particularly in collaboration with local authorities and public bodies.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver a range of pre- and post-contract Quantity Surveying services
  • Support cost planning, procurement, tendering, and contract administration
  • Take ownership of smaller projects (with guidance), and contribute to larger schemes within a team
  • Collaborate closely with clients, consultants, and contractors throughout the project lifecycle
  • Assist senior colleagues with cost reporting, value engineering, and risk management
  • Progress towards chartership with structured support and professional mentorship


About You:

  • 2–4 years' experience within a consultancy or PQS environment
  • Working towards MRICS accreditation (APC pathway) or recently chartered
  • Experience in one or more sectors such as commercial, leisure, education, or public sector projects
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with confidence in a client-facing role
  • A proactive, team-oriented mindset with a commitment to learning and professional development
