Senior Structural Engineer – Cross Hands

£45,000 - £55,000 + Hybrid + Bonus

A great opportunity has opened for a Senior Structural Engineer to join a busy and expanding engineering team based in Cross Hands. This is a full-time, permanent role offering a mix of technical responsibility, project leadership, and team support across a variety of sectors, including residential, commercial, and industrial projects.

Key responsibilities include:

• Producing detailed structural designs using software and hand calculations
• Undertaking structural surveys and feasibility studies
• Preparing reports, technical documentation, and managing tender processes
• Liaising with clients, contractors, and external professionals
• Ensuring compliance with CDM 2015, Building Regs, and other statutory requirements
• Supervising junior engineers and supporting their development
• Overseeing construction works on site, including inspections and certifications

About you:

• Degree-qualified in Structural Engineering (MEng preferred)
• Strong knowledge of engineering consultancy practices and current legislation
• Comfortable managing projects independently and mentoring junior staff
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Experience delivering work on time and within budget
