We are working with a leading Consultancy in Manchester who is are recruiting for a Project Manager to join their growing team.


This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Project Manager to join a leading consultancy and work on a range of high-profile projects in Manchester.

The role offers a variety of projects across different sectors and values, providing a diverse and rewarding opportunity, including:


  • BTR and Residential new build projects
  • Hotel new build projects
  • Student Accommodation new build projects
  • Re-cladding projects
  • Drafting and supporting the production of specifications and briefs for clients


The role of the Project Manager includes the following responsibilities:


  • Provide project management services throughout the pre and post-contract phases
  • Support business objectives to deliver value for money in all circumstances
  • Carry out assigned duties efficiently, adhering to processes and procedures
  • Take personal responsibility for complying with Environmental, Health, Safety, Security, and Quality Standards
  • Assist with the preparation of project plans, including measurement
  • Support Value Engineering studies and analysis
  • Work with senior staff to gather market testing data for key project elements
  • Assist with data analysis on design efficiencies and benchmark comparisons
  • Prepare and assist with tender documents, evaluations, contract documentation, and reports
  • Scrutinise and verify applications for interim payments
  • Prepare certificates
  • Assist with change control management in accordance with contracts
  • Prepare and assist with the production of project reports and forecasting
  • Attend progress meetings
  • Advise and liaise with internal project and cost control teams


Key Attributes:


  • Degree-qualified (or working towards) in Project Management, Construction Management, or similar technical discipline
  • Working towards Chartered status
  • Ideally, a minimum of 2 years’ experience in the construction industry
  • Competent in project management software (CATO, Bluebeam, or similar)
  • Previous experience with a consultancy or end-user client
  • A team player with a flexible, enthusiastic, and ambitious attitude
  • A personable, approachable individual who fits well into a collaborative team environment
  • A proven track record of managing projects, prioritising workloads, and meeting deadlines
