Project Architect (Developer)

Vertical Recruitment are exclusively working with a renowned residential developer known for their innovative and high-quality residential designs. They are looking to expand their in-house Architectural team with a Project Architect.

Job Overview

This is a unique opportunity to join a firm where you will work on residential projects from the moment the land is acquired to the final stages of construction. You will be involved in the initial designs that are both aesthetically pleasing and functional, ensuring that each project meets the high standards of quality that are already in place.

Project Responsibilities

You will have the opportunity to work on all RIBA stages, however the main requirement for this role is for an Architect to have strong technical ability especially for Stage 3 layouts and Stage 4 detailed design.

You will need to be happy working within a small team with the majority of time focused on drawing and design.

Non Project Responsibilities

• Ad hoc administrative duties as required.
• Develop and maintain an appropriate understanding of UK legislation, planning, construction and health and safety.
• Manage personal CPD.

Skills

• Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines.
• Good design eye/ creativity with drawing skills by hand as well as CAD.
• Ability to communicate design ideas both verbally and visually.
• Knowledge of Revit is preferable.
• Knowledge of Sketchup or AutoCad.
• Knowledge of Adobe packages (indesign, photoshop, illustrator).
• Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.

Qualifications and Experience

• ARB-registered Architect
• Minimum of 5 years' post-Part III experience
• Experience within the residential sector
