Job Title: M&E Quantity Surveyor (Contract)

Location: Wolverhampton / Midlands Region

Contract Length: 18 months

Day Rate: Open to Negotiation

About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced M&E Quantity Surveyor to join our client on a £8 million new build project in the Wolverhampton region. This is an office-based role with responsibility for overseeing all commercial and financial aspects of the mechanical and electrical works.

Key Responsibilities:

·      Manage the commercial and contractual aspects of M&E packages.

·      Prepare and submit valuations, variations, and final accounts.

·      Monitor project costs and budgets, identifying risks and opportunities.

·      Provide accurate financial reporting to senior management.

·      Manage subcontractor accounts, payments, and procurement.

·      Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and industry regulations.

·      Work closely with project managers and site teams to ensure smooth delivery.

Requirements:

·      Proven track record as an M&E Quantity Surveyor (mechanical & electrical focus essential).

·      Degree or HNC/HND in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, or a related field.

·      Strong knowledge of NEC / JCT contracts.

·      Experience working on large-scale new build projects.

·      Excellent negotiation, communication, and reporting skills.

·      Degree or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying or similar (preferred but not essential with proven experience).
