We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a thriving and rapidly growing consultancy in their recently expanded Manchester office.

The Role

As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will provide comprehensive Cost Consultancy services across a diverse portfolio of projects including student accommodation, residential, private residential, and developer-led developments primarily in the Northwest.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparing accurate estimating and cost planning
  • Offering procurement advice and developing cost plans
  • Acting as Employers Agent on various projects
  • Preparing tender documentation and reporting
  • Contract administration and rigorous cost control
  • Managing interim valuations and cost reporting
  • Providing contract and dispute resolution advice


What You Will Need

  • Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying
  • Minimum 3+ years post-graduate experience in a Quantity Surveyor role
  • Proven track record in feasibility, cost planning, procurement, tender documentation, and post-contract services
  • Experience working within a consultancy or as an end-user client
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with a focus on building and maintaining client relationships and developing new business
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines efficiently, working collaboratively as part of a team
  • A proactive, flexible, enthusiastic, and ambitious approach
