Our client, an established Management Consultancy based in the heart of Manchester, is seeking a talented Quantity Surveyor to join their growing team. Specialising in Healthcare, Education, and Commercial projects, this role offers an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of impactful projects.
What You’ll Be Doing
As a Quantity Surveyor, you will take responsibility for all aspects of pre- and post-contract quantity surveying services. This includes leveraging your technical expertise and commercial knowledge to deliver outstanding results.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing projects from inception to completion.
- Attending design team and site progress meetings.
- Preparing detailed cost estimates, tender documents, and cashflow forecasts.
- Producing financial reports and overseeing valuations.
- Utilising your knowledge of NEC and JCT contracts to ensure effective cost management.

About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field, with MRICS qualification (or working towards it).
- At least 3 years of professional experience in a consultancy environment.
- Previous experience in healthcare projects (beneficial but not essential).
- A strong understanding of cost management and quantity surveying duties.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Exceptional organisational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- A full UK driving license.
