About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our clients expanding team. This role is pivotal as they establish a new division dedicated to delivering comprehensive turnkey projects. The successful candidate will oversee projects from inception to completion, ensuring they meet client specifications, budget constraints, and timelines.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Delivery: Manage full lifecycle of projects, including extensions, alterations, and new-build facilities.
  • Client Engagement: Work closely with clients to understand their requirements and deliver tailored solutions.
  • Pricing and Estimating: Develop accurate project estimates and pricing models.
  • Procurement and Supply Chain Management: Oversee procurement processes and manage supply chain relationships.
  • Contractual Management: Administer contracts, ensuring compliance and managing variations.
  • Commercial Acumen: Maintain commercial oversight of projects, ensuring financial objectives are met.
  • Site Management: Supervise site activities, ensuring health, safety, and quality standards are upheld.
  • Team Leadership: Lead project teams, fostering collaboration and efficiency.


Qualifications and Experience:

  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in project management within the construction or industrial sector.
  • Skills: Strong understanding of pricing, estimating, procurement, supply chain management, and contractual management.
  • Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with civil works including groundworks, concrete slabs, and fire stopping.
  • Client-Facing: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong client relationships.
  • Education: Relevant degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Certifications: Professional certification (e.g., MCIOB, PMP, PRINCE2) is desirable.


Working Arrangements:

  • Base Location: Cheshire
  • Travel: Regular travel to project sites from London to the North East
