Join a leading chartered quantity surveying organisation renowned for its diverse commercial services to the construction industry. With recent successes securing major public sector and central government framework agreements, the M&E team is expanding for a candidate to join their newly refurbished Manchester office!


The consultancy handle a wide array of construction projects, ranging from small schemes to significant multi-phase developments.


To qualify for this role, you'll need experience in M&E cost management, preferably with a background in managing costs for public and central government clients. British Nationality (British Citizen from birth) is a must for security clearance.


Responsibilities:

  • Conduct feasibility studies, advise on procurement strategies, and manage contracts.
  • Lead estimating and cost planning activities, presenting final cost plans.
  • Negotiate and finalise accounts.
  • Manage contractual frameworks and standard forms.
  • Act as a key liaison with clients, stakeholders, and consultants.
  • Identify and implement improvements in cost management procedures and internal systems.


Requirements:

  • Degree or equivalent in Quantity Surveying.
  • Chartered with RICS or equivalent.
  • Experience with JCT/NEC contracts.
  • Minimum 2 years of M&E experience.
  • Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
  • Solid consultancy background.
