Nottingham | £40,000 - £45,000 + Hybrid + Flexible Working Hours + Bonus + Overtime (1.5x) + Private Healthcare

The Role

They’re now looking for an Electrical Engineer to join their expanding team. You’ll work closely with senior engineers and directors to deliver innovative electrical design solutions across a range of building projects.

This role offers an excellent balance between technical design, client interaction, and professional growth — with structured support towards achieving Chartered Engineer status.


Responsibilities

  • Produce detailed electrical design drawings, calculations, and specifications
  • Work collaboratively with clients, contractors, and design teams to deliver coordinated solutions
  • Assist in project planning, design reviews, and technical meetings
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and sustainability goals
  • Support senior engineers in mentoring and guiding junior team members
  • Take ownership of your professional development, working towards Chartership


Requirements

  • Degree or HNC/HND in Electrical or Building Services Engineering (or equivalent experience)
  • Proven experience working within a building services consultancy
  • Knowledge of relevant standards and design software (Amtech, Dialux/Relux, Revit, etc.)
  • Strong communication and coordination skills
  • A proactive, collaborative attitude and an interest in sustainable design
