We’re excited to be partnering with a leading construction consultancy delivering high-profile projects across the UK, seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join their expanding team and contribute to a diverse portfolio of high-value developments.


This innovative consultancy provides expert cost and project management services across a variety of sectors, with typical project values ranging from £5M to £50M and some landmark schemes exceeding £75M.


Recent and current projects include:

  • National and regional retail fit-outs for prominent brands
  • Large-scale refurbishment and fit-out schemes
  • Hotels, student accommodation, and healthcare developments
  • Industrial warehouses and private residential projects


You will be joining a collaborative, high-performing team, taking ownership of commercial and cost management responsibilities across multiple projects and helping to drive successful delivery from inception to completion.


The Role

We’re looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join the team and support projects across pre- and post-contract stages, helping deliver high-quality, cost-efficient schemes while building strong client and contractor relationships.


Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver full Quantity Surveying services across multiple sectors, from pre-contract cost planning to post-contract final accounts
  • Prepare cost plans, budgets, and estimates for new and ongoing projects
  • Manage tendering, procurement, and contract administration, ensuring compliance with commercial and contractual requirements
  • Assess and certify valuations, variations, and final accounts accurately and efficiently
  • Monitor project costs and report on financial performance, risks, and opportunities
  • Support project teams in commercial decision-making and risk management
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and suppliers


About You

  •  5 + year's post-grad experience as a Quantity Surveyor in construction, fit-out, or refurbishment projects
  • Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related discipline
  • MRICS-qualified or actively working towards chartership (preferred)
  • Strong commercial awareness with excellent attention to detail and numeracy
  • Confident in managing multiple projects and stakeholders autonomously
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Proactive, organised and capable of delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced environment
