Intro


We are looking for a Senior Digital Sales Expert to join a leading financial services organisation in Belgium. The role sits within the Digital & Customer Interaction environment and focuses on driving end-to-end digital sales performance across web and mobile channels.

The ideal profile combines strong digital marketing expertise with a performance-driven mindset, a passion for optimisation, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, data-driven environment. The assignment runs until the end of the year.


Responsibilities


1. Digital sales strategy & optimisation


  • Develop and implement strategies to improve digital conversion and sales performance (short, mid and long term)
  • Manage the full digital customer journey from traffic acquisition to conversion, activation and post-sales engagement
  • Continuously test and optimise user journeys through A/B testing and experimentation


2. Traffic generation & campaign management


  • Set up and manage end-to-end performance marketing campaigns across paid and owned channels
  • Optimise media mix (SEA, programmatic, social and content) in collaboration with media teams
  • Manage marketing spend based on continuous performance analysis
  • Define targeting and retargeting audiences using data-driven segmentation


3. Data, analytics & performance monitoring


  • Analyse funnel performance and digital sales results using web analytics tools (e.g. Adobe Analytics and similar platforms)
  • Build dashboards, monitor performance, and translate insights into actionable improvements
  • Continuously track conversion performance from click to sale


4. SEO & content optimisation


  • Optimise digital content and landing pages for SEO and conversion
  • Improve content performance through experimentation and data insights
  • Contribute to improving overall digital customer experience


5. Experimentation & best practice sharing


  • Contribute to the experimentation backlog and support cross-team initiatives
  • Identify and share best practices across teams and squads
  • Test new acquisition channels, targeting methods, and creative formats


6. Stakeholder management & collaboration


  • Work closely with internal digital, marketing and product teams
  • Align and manage stakeholders on campaign execution and optimisation initiatives


Experience & Competences


  • Minimum 5 years of experience in digital marketing, e-commerce, digital sales or digital strategy
  • Strong experience in performance marketing (paid & owned media, funnel optimisation)
  • Hands-on experience with analytics and marketing tools (e.g. Adobe Analytics or equivalent, SEO tools such as SEMrush, data platforms, etc.)
  • Strong understanding of conversion optimisation, A/B testing and customer journey design
  • Analytical mindset combined with strong communication and writing skills
  • Experience working in cross-functional and international environments
  • Proactive, structured and able to perform under pressure
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
  • Master’s degree or equivalent through experience
  • Fluent in Dutch or French AND English
